*Join Michelle Acebo for a Yoga Immersion Entry Level Teacher Training Program*
We know how difficult it can be to do a 9-month long teacher training program. The Yoga Studio has a 50-hour, One week long entry level teacher training program. This program will give you the basics of teaching a safe and effective yoga class. The 50 hours can be used towards your yoga alliance continuing education hours. This course will be useful for current yoga teacher’s to sharpen their yoga skills, for people who would like to teach in gyms and are not necessarily interested in going through a 200 hour program, for college students on summer break who would like to generate income while going to school, for anyone who is thinking about a teacher training program but are not sure about the financial and time commitments.
This unique program starts with a local weekend yoga retreat. The schedule is noted below. It will be focused on Ayurveda, philosophy, asana, meditation and Chakras. The program continues with 3 days at the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi. You will study class sequencing, basic anatomy, modifications, class opening, setting intention, yoga flow asana sequencing, restorative yoga sequencing, hot yoga sequencing and safety, savasana, savasana adjustments, business of yoga, introduction to mindbody on line fitness software.
Get your certification with a studio, which will support you as you begin your yoga teaching journey. This program includes a month of unlimited yoga classes at the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi. This will allow you to shadow our teachers and continue to learn.
The 50 hours taken at the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi can be applied to our Yoga Alliance 200 and 500 hour programs when you are ready to dive in.
Get your certification through an accredited Yoga School, which has been offering Teacher trainings in Corpus Christi for the past 9 years. We are recognized as South Texas’ Premier Yoga School where education, safety, and quality teaching is our primary specialty and focus.

Michelle Acebo: Director of Yoga Alliance 200 and 500 Hour Teacher Training Program. Michelle has been doing yoga since 2001. In 2004 she became a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level with the Yoga Alliance through a program in Corpus Christi. Michelle opened a yoga studio in January, 2005. It was the first yoga studio in South Texas dedicated completely to yoga. She completed her Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in 2008. Michelle currently runs a Yoga Alliance 200 and 500 hour Teacher Training Course through the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi. It is the mecca of training in South Texas for yoga teachers. She hosts many guests at the studio from all over the world. Michelle is very dedicated to her Jivamukti Training and continues to bring Manorama D’Alvia in to her Teacher Training Programs. Michelle has never forgotten her lineage of Jivamukti Yoga and continues to share it with all who enter the studio. She bows to the Lotus feet of her Gurus, Sharon Gannon, David Life, and Manorama D’Alvia. She has completed several other 200 hour courses along with trainings with the following teachers: Dharma Mittra, Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, Duncan Wong, Corena Hammer, and many more.
Receive a Teacher Training Certificate from the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi, which is an accredited Yoga Alliance Teacher Training School.
This program is perfect for military, gym yoga teachers, teachers who have completed yoga alliance programs but feel like they need a little more help with their skills before they teach to public.
The difference between this program and the 200/ 500 hour trainings is compared to an associates degree and bachelor/master degrees. Yoga classes are taught everywhere and many times by self-taught teachers. The YSOCC would like to help educate these teachers and give them a solid foundation. This will help you teach a smart, effective and meaningful class.
This is an affordable option to start your yoga teaching journey.
Investment: $1,950 Pre-registration. $2,150 at the door. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER!!!!
