A 200-hour certified Yoga instructor through the Austin Yoga School, Gretchen has helped organize and assist with many Yoga workshops for well-known Yoga instructors such as Peggy Kelley, Bekir Algan, and Judith Hanson Lasater. Gretchen’s personal Yoga quest started in 1996 while studying massage therapy at the Austin School of Massage. Her love for Yoga quickly grew as she sought out instruction from Peggy Kelley, Bekir Algan, Ph.D., Ramanand Patel, and John Friend. During a visit to Mount Madonna Center in California she studied Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy®. Her other interests include the study of Ayurveda and a love for raw food preparation. Gretchen has experience as a personal chef with macrobiotic foods, raw foods, vegetarian, vegan, paleo and keto food preparation.
